BUILD THAT! (Bicycle Wheel)
Nothing rolls better than a hand-built wheel. If you dream of building your own custom wheel for your own ride, you can purchase the parts you’ll need through our community bike shop and build your wheel in this class. Bike Works offers reduced fees for our adult classes in return for volunteer service. If you are interested in building a wheel for Bike Works to keep, your time in class can be counted towards that volunteer commitment. If you plan on building a wheel for your own use our shop staff and your instructors will help you to select or discuss your materials and supplies.

Three weeks of bike repair classes cost $150 or $100 or $50 with volunteer commitments of 9 or 18 hours of Bike Works volunteer support. There are additional materials costs for students wishing to build wheels for themselves. This class is open to students age 18 and up.
