TRUE THAT! (Bicycle Wheel)
Is there a wobble in your wheelset? Do you have a hop in your roll? Do your spokes warble like an unstrung violin, instead of pinging like a well-tuned concert piano? Has your daily commute or pan-continental bike tour been brought to an untimely end by a broken spoke or a dent in your wheel? Is your bike’s heart made blue by a wheel that isn’t true?
Straight and flat and round is how you want your wheel. Come to Bike Works in search of truth, leave a better mechanic than you ever thought you could be!
Wheel truing can be challenging to master but it can also be so much fun! Let’s work together to demystify this challenging but valuable skill! Once you get started you might find it hard to stop. Take this one day class and learn how to true a wheel in all directions and how to check and adjust spoke tension to make your wheel sing! This class is an excellent introduction for those interested in taking the Build a Wheel class.
