Organize a Bike Drive
It’s easy to host a bicycle donation drive. Get started today.
A great way to support Bike Works is to organize a bike collection event. This is an easy and fun community service project for businesses, churches, schools, social groups, neighborhood associations or individuals. A bike collection supports Bike Works, provides your community with an opportunity to rid their garages of unwanted bikes, and draws positive attention and recognition to your organization.
Step 1: Get the Word Out
Tell everyone you know about Bike Works and your bicycle donation drive. Send email to friends, family, and co-workers about the ways in which Bike Works is getting unwanted bikes back out into the community. Talk about your drive and encourage everyone to bring in bikes to donate.
Step 2: Set Up a Donation Collection Area
Collect donations in a high-traffic area. Help us keep track of what your drive collected by completing a donation drive receipt.
Step 3: Deliver Donations to Bike Works
Contact our Recycling & Reuse Coordinator for more information.
Step 4: Celebrate Your Drive’s Success
Congratulate yourself and everyone who contributed to its success.

Listed below are the upcoming bike collections. Volunteers will be at each collection to accept bikes and provide you with more information. All donations are tax-deductible and you will receive a tax donation receipt when you deliver your bike. To help offset the costs of transporting, evaluating and storing bikes, we request a bike processing donation of $5 with every donation of a bike.
